Conceived, recorded and released entirely in lockdown, Music for Strangers started as an idea to make 'something' using just piano and found sounds, and evolved into a concept album with collaborations from around the world.

The only instruments on the album are piano, cornet, and various contributions sent in from friends and strangers - some single notes, some longer passages. There are no synths or 'virtual' instruments - drums, basses, rhythms etc have been made from samples of seagulls, toilet roll, disinfectant spray and other sound sources.

I'm incredibly grateful to everyone who helped out on this. I had no idea at the start what kind of album would result, but it ended up being something I'm very proud of.
